I run some stock Axial Yeti fronts all around on both of my current Wraiths. They do well and are about 93mm long and compatible with Wraith springs so the rates can be easily changed.

Finally put this 4068 motor in my Bomber. Lol. It's got plenty of torque now.

The bottom one is a regular 540 sized can. All cheap Chinese motors but have taken a fair amount of abuse. This brand ESCs are junk for a crawler, but pair the motors with something with a functional drag brake they do fine if geared properly.

I decided to try moving the steering link behind the axle yesterday. I think it gave me a bit more steering angle.

I'm kinda liking the scale portion. It's pretty sweet.

Ordered a Wraith Spawn a few days ago :anonymous:

First thing it looks like I should do is Aluminum Links, Battery relocate, and a new steering servo I'm being told. Anything else?

My bomber is alive again! Bad servo was the issue. The new shv550 from Holmes is awesome too. Super quick and precise.

Holmes is some good stuff. Good to hear you're back in action. I've been beating on mine for about 15 minutes every afternoon knocking around my yard.

It almost seems faster than it used to on the 2s :notsure:

Tonight I'll charge the 3s I picked up though and have some fun

So I ordered too big of a battery for the bomber..but I cut off the hardcase tonight and now it's a snug fit.

It rips on the 3s but needs a swaybar badly

Picked an old lightly used Revo 2.5 from a friend, pretty fun truck but I'm still having issues getting the carb settings right

It ain't easy setting nitro at altitude. A little rich is better than too lean. Full tanks run rich and lean out as they empty. So expect your best powerband around 3/4 tank. Just my experience.

I got an old TA SC10 and a Losi Mini Desert back going today. Both are brushless now and I had to weight the nose of the Mini down. I'd like to see how much ass they haul tomorrow right now.

Took the X-Maxx crawler out for the first time since I burned up the other ESC. Replaced with a Tekin RSX which seems to handle the DeWalt 18V motor pretty well. Only thing I feel like I need to do now is "enhance" the servo saver. The Savox 2290 that I bought will easily overpower the servo saver when I get slightly bound up and I lose steering. I'm thinking of making some custom linkage and bypassing the servo saver altogether. Gotta work on that sometime...

    Anyway, here's a short video:
