In! Just to note: New to off-roading. I have a shovel. That's about it. :D

If people say I should get Maxtrax before tackling this, I will think about it

Shouldn't need them, and if there is a Tahuya meet I'll almost certainly go as long as there isn't a home sounders game, and I have some if you should need.

Can y'all let me know what weekends in August will work best for y'all?

Also, is this place best spent as a day trip, or a camping adventure?

Tahuya? It's a day thing. There is a staging area where people camp though, but its just a gravel parking lot.
The "loop" itself is only 6.7 miles or so. But it will be a good starting area for people to get their feet wet.

I'd be down for a camping adventure though, that sounds great.

Any weekend excluding the first weekend of August works for me. Sounds fun. And I'd be down to camp with whoever wants to. Afternoon of wheeling and find some where to camp afterwards. I need something to look forward to. Let's do this

Opinions on changing the location for this meet to somewhere in Oregon for a Solar Eclipse viewing party? (It will occur Monday, August 21)

While that does sound pretty awesome, might be tough for me to swing that. Any reason not to have both? So I can at least go to the weekend one?
