was the 5x8 overkill for the rear bumper? Think it could be accomplished with the 5x2?

Keep up the fight. Since June 2015 I've gone from 40% to 70%, there have been times where I thought about giving up because it's such a long drawn out process. My patience paid off though. We actually have a pretty good VA HOSP in Asheville and it's pretty close to me, plus I get travel pay every time I have an appointment. It also gives me a reason to go to the Harley Davidson dealership and do some dreaming.

I'm glad you have a good one nearby. The one in Memphis is straight garbage. I am amazed at how ignorant these people are every time I am there.

I tried with a 5x2. It would be possible, but not ideal Ideally you'd want a seam behind the license plate. That way you can do it in two parts to make it easier on yourself. With a 5x2 you'd have a couple more seams.

Picking up Pelfreybilt Bumper and Skids tonight from FedEx. Ordered, and the very next day had a tracking number. Got to say this is extremely great service. Thanks Pelfreybilt. Will post pics tonight.

it was (as I had some left over) but the sheets only come in 5x2, 5x3, 5x4, 5x5, 5x6, 5x7, 5x8, etc.....
rear bumper measures 6'-9" long and only 12" wide (so the 5x2 wouldn't cover - long ways). Could probably get by with a 5x7 sheet but I wanted to make sure there was enough :) Don't understand why they don't sell it like we need it :(

Keep an eye out for Discount Tire Direct eBay's store... They usually do $100 of $400 purchase a couple times a year. I bought 2 sets of 2 tires and saved $200 of my KO2s... My 285/75r16s were $712 shipped to the house and then I got them mounted and balanced at the dealer for $64 out the door!

no seams - all one piece. I bought a 5x5 sheet for grill (over kill) and a 5x8 for rear bumper. Good thing the wife doesn't ever ask "how much is that going to cost" lol :)

    too many lights
They also are great on price matching. I googled the Falken Wildpeaks I have now and looked around for the cheapest internet price. They advertised I think at $145 or so a tire and I found it online with a rebate for $105/each, told Discount Tire what I found and they matched that price for all 5 tires (bought a matching Sport wheel to use as my spare instead of the steelie).

i retract my last statement - just went and took a look. The seam is behind the license plate :)

So with the 5 foot it was able to make it width wise without a seam?
