    That's a great video for describing load distribution. I say if you have the means run both. The stiff suspension definatley helps overall driveability with a trailer. Typically I load the truck with all the heavy stuff, generator, cooler, grill and chairs. Level the load with the bags then hitch the trailer and apply tension to the WDH bars so I'm distributing the tounge weight of the trailer only as opposed to all our glamp crap. If your only choosing one definitely go with a WDH and sway control.

    2015 SR5 towing my 21ft 4300lb max Dutchmen. Climbed 5k feet of winding mountain roads very well. I had a few 40mph climbs, but never had to switch to 4th gear. Eaz-Lift weight distribution hitch,Tekonsha brake controller, and otherwise stock.

    You climbed all those hills in 5th gear, even at 40mph? I doubt that.

    No, I never switched specifically to 4th from 5th as many do while towing. In other words, I was in "D" the whole time without the tranny hunting gears.

    That's the freshwater tank fill @Z50king. I was filling up before parking at a site with no hookups.

    The city water hookup is on the other side.

    Its so awesome, definitely truck is a little sluggish with it and Im going to do airbags just because i want them... but the trailer itself is amazing... the slide out makes such a huge difference
