I took 3 days off this week to finish fixing up our rental house. It's finally done and will be listed for sale tomorrow... finally! We have enough equity even at a little under asking to completely remodel our pool at our primary house, even after realtor fees and capital gains theft. Maybe I can even sneak in a new front bumper...

    Some stuff here and there....
Yep. @KevinK I have done all them. Black bear pass is awesome. The start of the trail is easy. Once you get over the pass and start headed down it gets more difficult. It's tight and slow going. There is some rock steps that are recommended not doing if raining or wet as it's very slippery and there is a cliff on the driver side. Once thru that it's just the switch backs. I had to do some 3 and 4 point turns in my double cab short bed to get around them. But I fully believe in your ability to handle yourself.

Imogene is fantastic aswell. You won't have any problems there. Just don't haul a trailer while wheeling it. :anonymous:

Got my gears installed yesterday, very happy with the results. 4.56 was a good ratio to go with I think.

If an H1 can fit, we can fit. I was more concerned about the physical width of the trail than the technicality of it. Slow and easy wins the race. All those other passes are also on our list. Thanks!

Aaaannd now some of those passes are off the list... thanks for the links! I'm gonna go follow those for updates.

I like learning from others' mistakes - no trailers for us.

Yeah, if it's even remotely moist, we'll skip Black Bear. But if it's dry, I think we'll go for it.

Here's the majority of our Utah route. I need a dirt road from Green River to Moab. We won't use google maps for nav during the trip, just for planning and sharing.

There are a thousand options between Green River and Moab, I'm looking for a decent one.

Escalante (gas) to Bullfrog (gas) 130 miles https://goo.gl/maps/kymFMYfRL382

Bullfrog (gas) to Poison Springs 90 miles https://goo.gl/maps/PzpHFcGKeXE2

Can anyone help with a good dispersed camp spot near woods canyon lake for this weekend? I know there's a couple campgrounds but trying to avoid the masses if possible. Looking at google earth, doesn't seem to be many roads around the lake but I did find a couple possible spots. I have a solid spot in Tonto near Knoll lake but with the boundary fire closures I can't get back there this weekend.

Did some 5am mountain biking up in Sedona. I really have no business owning a smartphone, I took one picture. It's my buddy taking an awful line on a tech climb.

You get out to the white mountains much already? Head east? We always find ourselves heading north and forget there's a whole other half to the state.

And thanks for the tip on BB pass. Yeah, once you commit, you're committed 100%.

Got an unexpected $1000 bonus today at work. First one ever. Surprised this stingy ass place made it work.

Thanks man! Lol. That's pretty much what it will be for. Replenishing the savings I dipped into for the gears.
