Ok.. has anyone seen BIG price changes between August and September? I'm looking to buy this truck in September because I figure ill have better bargaining power. I was signing for a 2008 tacoma Access cab Trd sport for $24,900 in July when the salesman refused to put the Price in the buyers order my father and I ripped up the paper work and walked out..

anybody have advice for the late year shopper like myself?
share your success stories if you have had luck between august and september?

    I must have this truck

    Just the basics
If you want an 08 Access Cab they are becoming scarce. I waited 6 months for an indigo ink 4x TRD OR with Tow and it didn't happen. I do think the 08s are better due to less bells and whistles and a functional back seat design. Get it now with the good rebates or you're gonna be getting an 09 at a higher price.

A few additions to make me feel cool.
Do what I did in 07, have the wife buy a 4Runner fully loaded at full price then go in and buy the truck the next weekend. I bought my 07 access cab 4X4 TRD off Road for $23,500.00

08s left at the dealer yesterday were $3-4K off on the windshield. May be abel to pull them down more...Seeing the 09's driving on the road already, I'm sure you can find an 08 at a good price. Search around local dealer's inventory, many listed online.

the 09 has nice safety feature standard now, you going to pay for it but is not bad

VSC plus atrac and also side air-bag on the 09 is pretty cool plus rearview camera (small but it works).

08 had no safety features all it, but pray to god that a smart car hits you!
