    2.5" Supreme suspensions lift
The instructions I had were unclear, I didn't think it looked right but I couldn't fit the spacer underneath and didn't have the best guidance in doing this. It was my first time doing a lift by myself so i take all the blame for installing it incorrectly. Hopefully nothing is damaged suspension wise, looks like i got some work to do. Thanks for the help

I drove 100 miles with oil cap off on my 88 toy 4x4, what a mess it made under the hood and I kept thinking the guys car in front of me has an issue burning oil

    Hey OP.

Sorry your first posts got you a rough response...
Don't know where you are, but there are lots of groups in different regions that will sometimes get together to help one another out when starting our mods.
Look up your area, if there is a thread for your town you are in luck. If not, create one and see if they come.
I know I have learned a whole lot over the years from the guys locally, and sometimes much further. Made some friends too.

    Oh, and Welcome to TacomaWorld!

Yeah you should be fine, shouldn't have hurt anything. Disconnecting the sway bar should help getting some room, also loosening the upper control arm bolts a bit.

Don't feel bad for making a mistake. I replaced a clutch plate in my VW Baja. When I was done, tried to take it for a ride, nope, didn't move at all. I was like WYD, went and got a beer and found the new clutch on the kitchen counter. Try and use the search box, ask questions. Great bunch on here that will help you in the future. Start over and good luck. Also, ditch the spacers and get some real coil overs, Icon, Fox, Kings, etc.

Take some buddy with you next time. It's not safe to make this kind of mistakes in suspension installation. Sorry, but one of the most stupid lift installations I have seen. But hey, by doing you will learn.

don't sweat it too much, mistakes are how we learn, tho seconding several other comments: suspension is a dangerous one to mess up at, and also, hopefully something is damaged so you try again with some real coilovers, radflo, king, icon, fox, swayaway...

on that note: I'd double check that drivers side setup (I think, lower picture), kinda looks like the rod pushed through something (the position of the nut/washer above the spacers in both pics are not equal) and the rod is no longer centered within the spring from what i can tell. might just be perspective of the pic tho and im not familiar with this hardware. good luck man you'll get it right. by ditching a spacer lift.
