Nice setup. I picked up a set of those rims, completely blemish free with about 1200 miles on them, for $200. That's probably as close as I'll get to having one of those 4Runners.

You just pull the return line and keep filling until you got fresh fluid? What did you replace the fluid with?

Not enough to have a build thread.
So.... Has anyone done a mod to fit a bigger battery in their first gen? Mine barely started after work today. Didn't think it was going to start just now. Probably won't start in the am. Definitely time for a battery. Would like to put in a 850 CCA from work so I can warranty it out before the warranty expires lol. Any suggestions from my EAF Nor Cal brethren?

Yep. Pull the return line and cap the nipple. Connect hose to your drain bucket. Jack the front up so wheels turn easy. With key on crank left to right. Keep an eye on on the resi, a turn or two will drain it quick. Keep going until new fluid comes out. I used some dex III ATF from Napa

How do you guys store your camper shells if you take them off? Not too keen on leaving it outside but takes too much room in the garage. Anyone done a pulley system or strap it to the ceiling of their garage?

no idea how much a shell weighs but something like this would work i think. just have to remove the bottom plate thing, and attach your shell to the lines

I plan on getting one mounted in my garage when we move. HOPEFULLY be able to back into the garage, unbolt the RTT, hook it up and leave it stored. then when needed plan is to just back in drop it and bolt it

Tundra shell is over 4' so I would have to look into a larger system, but not bad.

That seems sketchy. Just pulled the shell with my brother and its heavy, I'd be worried it wouldn't hold.

Might be with this set up, last post of the page. http://www.titantalk.com/forums/tit...mper-shell-storing.html#/topics/171634?page=2

Idk, these tents are pretty chunky even when unloaded. If I were putting one up there i think I'd get something more like the FSR that @sytfu510 has. Seems a lot more low profile.
