SOS bolt ons.. I'd have them on the truck already, but I have hex head bolt on the bottom of my frame about rounded off..

 

Having a dilemma...I want 255/75/16 tires.....but don't want to get new rims...and 285s look so sexy when done up right.

 

Too much smoke... Smoke = lost power and wasted fuel

 

If I lived your way I would do tall and skinnies. Better for rocks and such.

 

Now to find some decent rims that won't break the bank.

 

With @Bubbles on this one. Get some 255/85r16s...love that look and its actually a true 33" tire.

Yeah pretty much. Similar weight and width to a 265 and so as long as you have lift then there isn't as much need for cmc. Only rubbing, if any, would be on the fender in full flex but the lift would help with that.

 

Sweet. I'm liking the idea more and more now. Plus, idk how I feel about rolling around town 90% of the time on 285s

 

All of these new lifts and big tires are going to be used for clearing obstacles on the trails, right?

 

Yeah I've thought about switching from 265s quite a few times. Theres a bunch of stuff on a tall and skinny being better in most any situation except for sand and I doubt you run into too many beaches up in G-Vegas. Something about not sinking in and just going right through.

 

Haha no beaches here and I don't plan on hitting any anytime soon, but if I do I'll cross that bridge when I get to it.
