You running full skids right? I've had my tranny crossmember bolts make a lot of popping turning lock to lock in place. Might be worth a check and retorque those bad boys

So I just went and hit a sharp gully by my house slow and fast several times and never got the pop. It's only once per hard braking. So if I go forward and slow to a stop no pop, but if I slam on the brakes I get a pop. I then don't get it again until I go in reverse or accelerate fast and hard brake again.

I had some funky noises during turning, I lube my balls with this. Good clean, couple of lube jobs and she shut up. I'm not a guru but worked for me.20170623_223642.jpg

For the uniballs I just cleane them with warm water and then if they start squeaking I spray some dry teflon on them or wipe some wd40 on them if I can't find my teflon spray . They have been great so far only squeak after dirty driving and goes away as soon as I clean them

Been out of the country going on three weeks. I'll be home Monday afternoon on a red eye. Thinking of doing a little recon run up to Wrights Lake on a day trip if anyone is interested in a mid week jaunt.

WD40 is probably the worst thing you could use. But it's better than nothing. Kinda

Since coming back from that Eagle Lakes trip, I'm getting something similar. Its not constant (like a CV issue) , or even consistent (can't always duplicate). I exercised the suspension more than it's probably seen its entire life.

I'm no mechanic, but my gut tells me it's a ball joint of some sort, maybe a lower or a tie rod end. Upper BJs are new. Most noticable when leaving in the morning. Hear it sometimes just rolling forward or my initial turn out of the driveway, sometimes coming to a stop under moderate-to-hard breaking, sometimes when turning while stopped or rolling (down the driveway for example).

as someone that knows too much about uniballs now. i no longer use those spray dry lubes. i use this

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000C17R7Q/

and their cleaner or @jberry813 recommendation some simplegreen and water.

i have about 10 different cans of spray dry lube now that i dont use. guess i have a lifetime supply of garage door lube
