Prepare to get flamed. There was a huge thread bashing them, basically a ripoff copy of SCS wheels.

I was gonna say the same thing... Wasn't there talk of SCS potentially suing? I mean they're near exact copies of the Stealth 6, F5, and Ray 10... Lol

Good to know. The design looked familiar so thought I ask.

Just curious (not trying to argue over wheels neither of us have), what would make the XD301's "mall crawler" wheels? KMC makes quality product, they don't have a typical mall crawler style...I'm confused.

This...looks great imo. And for how little they cost...seems like a solid win. They just don't make them wide enough for the look I wanted.

I know right? I love mine. I just wish there was more offerings in the 18x12 size. There's literally 4 to pick from in that size, and 2 are MotoMetal soo....

Yeah noticed that in my search. Am genuinely asking about the hate though. I just ordered and got mine in. That's why I haven't posted a picture with them on the truck yet.

Varrstoen basically makes nothing but copies of expensive wheels. They started in the tuner scene, and all the same discussions happened and are still there. Didn't stop them, because people would still buy the cheaper option. There was the lawsuit talks, but nothing ever materialized. These are big name companies like Rays and ADV.1 I imagine are much larger and more resourceful than I imagine SCS is (could be wrong) - and it still didn't stop them. Just know in the car show world, if you got Varrs and the guy next to you has the ADV.1's it knocked off - you lose.

As an artist, I know it sucks to have your creative work stolen. Unfortunately, in many cases the juice isn't worth the squeeze to pursue it. There's enough people that pay for integrity, and enough people to frown upon knockoffs - just like here. Business is business.

All that said, I still love Rotas lol

My son has Fuel Hostage on his truck. I don't hate them, but I think they'd look better without all the chrome hardware.
I was really torn between SCS and FN. I decided against SCS because of the hardware. I'd love to see what they would look like without a bead lock. Still think they're awesome though.

I wouldn't worry about the haters, man. Run what you like. I'm sure it's going to look good when you get them mounted. No matter what you do, someone will bash you with criticism. Especially on a forum.

Still hands down my favorite option over aftermarket.

What's the word on TPMS for aftermarket? Are they a pain to sync to 3rd gens?
