Good God. I was at one a few weeks ago. About 3 hours into it I forgot my name. We did have a killer bottle she before though. I hate my liver

Look for Scotty Karate from Dark Horse brewing. One of my favorite scotches

Haha ya me and my buddy are really good at beer fests. We like to get as much variety as we can. We usually take a few sips each, trade, few sips and then dump. We don't like getting hammered at these events where we forget everything. Ruins it for us.

I have an aunt that lives in Austin so we checked it out on a visit with her. Very cool to place for sure. That entire street is such a cool environment!

Cool little German town in Texas Hill (wine) Country. Might be the only place in Texas where you can walk down the street with open beer or wine.

Not to be too much of a stickler but I think the nitro is a lower abv than the CO2. 8.0% abv on CO2 and 6.9% on nitro. I'm not sure why it's different. Same beer. Same just different gas. Should be the same. :notsure:

I've been gravitating towards the CO2 version these days since it has bolder flavor than the nitro.

Appreciate the correction to correct myself if so James!:DI agree with you as well.:thumbsup:I've noticed in past yr's with the alternate versions being available as well with those that offer the"Nitro"the flavor isn't as noticeable but smoother. You get the flavor burst towards the end of the drink/sip instead of getting the entire bodied taste top to finish when it's non nitro.Everybody's throat pallets are different also.

Burial Beer Co Ceremonial Session IPA - I took a chance and picked up a 4 pack of this, and glad I did. I haven't had a bad beer from Burial, and most of their beers that I've had have been great.

Just got back from a weekend trip to Asheville, NC and brought back a lot of beer. We ended up to going to 14 breweries and sampled a ton of beer/cider.

Gonna give my liver a few days off and get to sampling even more.

Rented a cabin outside of Asheville with a bunch of folks to celebrate my brother-in-laws 30th birthday.

I bought him a bottle of Colonel Taylor Small Batch bourbon and decided to break out a little 2015 vintage Terrapin Cinnamon Roll'd Wake and Bake Stout...

I bought several bottles back in Oct/Nov of 2015 and have been breaking them out every now and then for special occasions. He loved the bourbon, but wasn't fond of the stout... Oh well, more for me!!!!

Still tasted great! Definitely one of my all time favorites from Terrapin! Tastes like a bottle of Cinnamon Toast Crunch And coffee!!!

Down to one more bottle... Hope Terrapin releases it again in 2017!

Finally the first brew on the new stand and dedicated homebrewery. It was a steller brew day, the work was all worth it just so I don't have people getting in the way with dishes, cooking, or whatever.

Wow that is amazing! I'm jealous.

What'd you brew on the inaugural batch?

Thanks man. We brewed a 5gal batch of NE pale ale with loads of citra, galaxy, and mosiac. While it ferments we have to finish up the taps and get the most important part working, pouring the damn beer. Got these bad boys last week, there will be a total of 5 taps but room for 7.

Floor drain just behind the brewhouse on the left side? Instant water heater, what's the max temp? A/C unit on the right, vent above, stainless sink on the left.

    Very nice. :thumbsup::bowdown::cheers:
