Been raining here since Monday. Fucking sucks.

 

I have to go in tomorrow night around 11pm. So no alcohol for me after tonight.

 

Yeah, I thought a few things I wanted to do today (fishing, shooting, etc. with the boy), but I got this brisket going and I can't leave.

 

I mentioned the other day since we are getting a new grill about building a low deck off the back porch with sails hung above it for shade. She liked that idea. Could also get rid of that shit grass right off the porch by doing that. I ripped the screened in porch off the back years ago. Would be nice to have the grill and some chairs/table out back.

We had the remnants of that TS come through yesterday evening. Only dumped like an inch here.

 

I'm working today though. At least I'm almost halfway through the shift.

 

Sails, I like that idea. How would you attach them?

 

Oh yeah, once it's done. I wrapped it an threw it in the oven. But, it looked fantastic when I wrapped it. Might be my best one yet. Nothing compared to what you guys got down your way.

 

Carabiners and turnbuckles. I can make them myself.

Had one of my daytime running/blinker lights go out and got the hyper flash that it was out. Bought some led's to replace them both. Now I have the hyper flash on both.


Dammit, now I need the one's with the resistors. Think I may roll with these for a bit and buy the switchbacks.
