I can't really accept that as the truth. If it was, you would have stuck to your argument regarding Toyota. Instead, you dismantled his personal statements and values sentence by sentence.

The value of life is the same, i never stated otherwise. I never said anything about 1 life is too many if i know them or don't like them? You must have pulled that out of your ass along with the rest of the BS flowing from your mouth in this thread.

And thank you for correcting me "you're" an idiot.

Maybe your confused by me stating that i have to inform the family....that is my JOB...i don't know these people.

You didn't have to state otherwise. Your actions show your preferences. If you valued all life the same (including your own), you would not own a vehicle, or a PC, or whatever other possessions you enjoy. The money you put into those items could've been used to save lives, by, for example, buying food for starving African orphans.

    Getting the picture yet?

So no, you don't value all life the same. You hold yours higher. In fact, you hold having internet access higher than many lives.

As stated, relax...I do too. I could not care less about starving African children, because I too have some nice things and an internet connection.

The difference is, I don't try to pretend otherwise when it suits my needs, like you do.

You're thanking an idiot for divulging knowledge to you that you didn't possess and then continuing to call him an idiot?

Wouldn't that then make you an idiot as well?

I can only offer two things in my defence:

    1) I like bait. A lot.

    2) Sometimes people are just asking for it.

That's DEFENSE, and jesus before you get on the high horse, i know you CAN spell it defence...but who does, really?

And like i said before, kids in africa are not my problem. People in the us are....you included unfortunately.
My life is actually held to a lower standard due to my profession, i am to protect others before myself (with the exception of the criminals).

It is the same as if you got in a accident. The value loss due to another party's negligence(Toyota knew about all the safety issues and did nothing). Not only did the company impact the value of there auto due to negligence but was gambling with there safety.

Actually, both defence and defense are accepted. The "c" version is British. The "s" version is certainly more common.

"And thank you for correcting me "you're" an idiot."

-Yeah, still wrong buddy. You probably didn't want to start that sentence with "And". It's not technically wrong anymore but proper, intelligent use of it is most likely beyond your mastery of the written language. You needed a period following "me", and of course, in turn the capitalization of "You're".

    Stock....For now
What I don't understand is why these people are letting there cars get to the runaway speeds. Think about it...there driving at the most 250hp cars that even at 65 would take at least 25- 30 seconds to get over 100mph.. And why are these people pushing the throtle all the way to the floor to begin with. Hell I have a 4x4 4 cylinder with bigger tires and dont even come close to using full throtle. If people would just pay attention when they are driving there wouldn't be any problems.

jandrews, your pointed words speak volumes about your immaturity. Spend a few days doing uood8's job and I'd gaurantee that your pseudo-intellectual, self gratifying attitude would unravel like a cheap suit.

Yeah I've never dealt with the dead or dying at all .

There's nothing immature about my words. You've just mistaken "sugar coated language" for "maturity". If I think someone's views are stupid, I'm going to call them stupid. If you have problems dealing with that level of frankness, that's not my problem.

The problem is your trying argue what has already been admitted as fact whether it is actually true or not. Sure, Mr. Toyoda and Toyota Corporation may haved determined that the best method of damage control is to admit and plead for mercy. The problem with this strategy is it opens the door to many more lawsuits and the possibility of losing more public support than if Toyota had a baseline positive game plan which I don't believe they did.

Also to compare the average random auto accident that occurs daily many times over with no relation to the admitted possibility of a consistent mechanical failure that has led to the same outcome is a little reaching.
