Just finished some upgrades to our car wash, so had to run her through today. Did a nice job. Got to love that inferno on a sunny day!20170624_140758.jpg 20170624_140736.jpg

Got it by drilling them out and a little perseverance. Things were in there so tight it was almost half an inch higher on the passenger side

There is a local car wash that offers unlimited car washes and vacuum for a monthly fee, but it's not touch less :( there is a touch less nearby but it's about $9 for their best wash, kinda expensive IMO. What I do is take it to the self serve and spend about $7 then dry with some detailer and a quality drying cloth.

Went to dealership and had a weather stripping replaced under warrant and got a courtesy alignment check.
I just swapped out my stock wheels/tires for KO2s and method wheels and everyone told me an alignment was not necessary. Well my alignment was off, but the service advisor covered the alignment under warrant by putting I claimed it was pulling to right. So didn't have to fork up any money.
    20170624_094407.jpg

And then I wasted a lot of time...
Attempted to plasti dip my flares and they just didn't look right to me so I peeled them off.

Someone just trade me your off-road flares for my super white already :anonymous:

I don't know who would tell you that changing everything that has impact to the ground doesn't require an alignment... but they are misguided. Wheels and tires were removed.. so all the little weights and special tweaks used to keep you running true went out the window.

A lot of ppl on this forum stated that an alignment wasn't needed if just switching wheels and tires and no suspension work. Even the local shop who mounted and balanced my new set said alignment not needed. Obviously they were wrong. Just glad the dealership didn't even bring up the fact I have aftermarket wheel and tires and covered the alignment under warranty

Certainly the sign of a good dealership there.. i'm still just flabergasted by the advice. It just seems to make sense to me that in removing your old wheels, your removed a portion of the alignment that was done, thus requiring a new one.

    Truck looks great, as always!

I'm so torn on the exhaust tip...I ordered one and have it here but now I'm not sure if the black stands out too much... you happy with it?

Thanks! I like the exhaust tip, I think it's a nice touch. I didn't mine the chrome but I like it better black now that I painted it. I thought about painting part of the exhaust pipe leading to the tip but decided it wasn't worth the effort. It would definitely make it stand out less. Another user on here did that I believe, I forgot who

@20tacoma17, high pressure spray nozzles that do not touch your car is how the touchless works. There is nothing beating against your car which could have just took mud off of someone else's then hits yours and scratches it up. Usually they do not clean as well as a wash that brushes against your car but you are taking your chances in those. Also depends on the soap that the car wash is buying some soaps are better than others. We charge $6 for lowest, wash $9 for our highest. It works pretty well if you make a habit of running through once a week so your truck isn't really filthy. Nothing beats a hand wash and I tell people that when I am there but lots of people are lazy! LOL. We also built our car wash so we can accommodate even very high lifted trucks or tall Vans. No one else in our area can do that. Opening is just under 9 ft.

@Sndtrper, thanks for the compliment bud. If you had to pay for the water bill and the expensive chemicals and the constant maintenance and upkeep and the high electric bill especially in the winter time all of our concrete floors and sidewalks are heated. Not to include paying the bank and the insurance. You wouldn't think 6 - $9 is expensive LOL. We have pretty good business in a good location and we have a very hard time just making the bills, none of us Brothers can even get a check out of it. Luckily we have other businesses that support this business which is quite a headache!

Ha. I did a failed plasti dip on my grile last week. Took me two days to sit there and pick that stuff off.
