101S closed at the 60 ramp area due to accident I'm guessing a fatality with it being completely shut down. So take side streets.

Best part is before it dumped you off the freeway or onto the 60 itself, 5 car pile up of idiots must of just happened minutes before I got there, but yet completely unrelated to why the freeway is closed lol.

Space Age has a product from U-POL called etch primer, works great. It is a rattle can, but ive never had issues with overspray.
I also use the spray bed liner on my sliders. Lays on real thick, pretty durable.

Has anyone on here rebuilt their fan clutch? I'm thinking as I approach 180k it's probably ready for a rebuild. The truck doesn't run hot, but the a/c isn't very effective at slow speeds or idle. Starting the truck early to cool down is almost pointless.

All of my armor is painted with duplicolor bed liner. Use a piece of cardboard and wedge it between your truck and sliders. Clean the sliders good and use the bedliner spray. Bedliner doesnt float in the air like traditional paint because its heavy and thick. Its also the smoothest bedliner i have found. Just enough to give some grip on my sliders for standing on them for the RTT. Ive never had any problems with overspray doing it this way. I usually use a piece of cardboard that's pretty big. Goes up to the windows or so.

I put a new one on when i did my timing belt. I ordered one for towing.... Its extremely loud, but even at 120* my truck AC got cold whole idling.

Test yours to see if it is bad, can do it a few different ways. Just spin it by hand and see if its nice and tight, or if it keeps spinning after you let go.

So did you guys get a certain one from Toyota or aftermarket? A little reading on iH8mud shows like there is different fluid types for regional temps

Those guys were all doing rebuilds

Anyone have a motorcycle single track ramp I can barrow for 30 mins along with their help? I am Glendale & I-17.

I got a HF motorcycle table lift for F-Day. I fallowed all the directions and it tested just fine. So I put my bike on it and started working on it. I went to get it off the lift... and the lift is FUBAR. Wont go up so I can remove the safety bar to lower it, it is currently about 2 feet off the ground.

This afternoon or anyway this week would work for me.

Speaking of fan clutches my truck has been acting a little strange in the hot weather...

A/C blows cold, but occasionally the air coming out of the vents gets warmer for just 1-2 seconds, then it is cold again. Very intermittent (like once every few trips), usually when I am moving.

Also the belt or pulley seems to be making a noise at idle, but only when the truck is in drive and has been running for a while. Kick it to park or turn off the AC, the noise stops. Before anyone says it, I don't have the V6 so it's definitely not my non-existent HPFP self-cleaning.

Wondering if I should take it to the dealer or if this is just standard fare for it being 120 goddamned degrees out.:p The truck still has a tick under 10K.

Back home after a long day up north yesterday. So I didn't take a detour up the 17.. traffic started moving slowly but didn't see any incidents. Stupid I-17. Another fire started up behind Mayer, using my old school for evacuations again, closest fire in a while. Then driving home last night around midnight, the SB 101 at the 60 was completely closed.. I'm guessing it was a Fatality. Anybody have news on it?

Nope I kept looking on news sites to see as well, since you couldn't see anything on the actual freeway, but then if you got offnon southern, cops were blocking the westbound lane on one side of the freeway, and on the other side cops were blocking the east bound lane, and you could see more cops coming down the 101n on the on ramp to the overpass.

When I exited the 101 on the 60 East ramp, I could see over the barrier. Must have been at least 20 emergency vehicles across the entire SB 101.

So finally getting around to ordering the adapter for to connect the BD, fogs to the stock harness so I can just use the existing fog light button.

So question is what are the 2 ends needed? H11 female connector and what for the BD connection part.
