Yes, 100% of the cars I have tuned show 100% throttle opening by the TPS when the throttle pedal is pressed 100% of the way unless there is 100% an issue (Cable binding, TPS malfunction, etc)..

    100%

Toyota's typically show 15% TPS zero throttle, and 85% TPS full throttle (as per a scangauge).

Never used one of those. I don't tune via OBD.

Is there an estimated time frame for final release?

No, it will be done when it is done. A lot is dependent on how quickly OV gets data back from the alpha release and how long it takes to compile/analyze it all. I gather it is not a trivial task based on the description of how the Toyota ECU functions in the first post.

I know its not something that would happen over night so to speak. I was more curious if they had a goal time frame like i said estimated, didn't know how many people they actually had collecting data and so forth.

@OVTune please take a look at the fuel mapping on the Manual V6. Toyota has the computer cut fuel when decelerating around 1300 Rpms. This causes issues when you are offroading in 4lo and using compression to keep the truck under control. If you are creeping down a steep stretch of trail and you slow down enough to hit 1300 rpms the fuel cuts off and the truck speeds up until 2500 rpms are reached and then engine braking starts again. Please see if this can be fixed with a tune. It is dangerous the way it is programmed now.

Will dyno tuning and VSC/TRAC be a problem?
Is this a system you plan on examining as part of the throttle limiting?

Thank you for this, agree completely that it's dangerous an should be looked at if possible. IMO, dyno results and street driveability are not the whole story. We need feedback from the trails as well!

He needs to ignore everyone and do what they do best. That's my point.

Nearly positive it's the opposite. Fuel is cut UNTIL 1300 rpm and then kicks back in to support a stable idle. It's much worse with the A.C. on for me because it happens at even higher rpm and somewhat randomly.

Could someone with the Carista app/bluetooth OBD dongle be able to see this with the supported PIDs?
