Thanks for all the info. I don't usually have big things shipped all the way to me in Fort Nelson because.. $$$. My parents live close to the border so I try to time purchases around visits, then take a day out of my visit to pop into WA and pick stuff up. It makes group buys and things with big lead times a PITA... gotta see if I can plan a visit towards the tail end of summer!

It could have been an older version with extra stock hence the blowout price.
Per Bedslide's website it shows 2002-current is all the same.

So if I'm not off my rocker (not at all a certainty), after doing a product compare on the Bedslide web page, the only difference between the S and the 1000 is that the S comes with a Bedtrax channel bisecting the deck, whereas the 1000 does not, but does come with a head board? Also the 1000 is 0.5" taller, for whatever reason. Both carry 1000 lb, both are 3/4 extension, both have the same deck material and the same bearings, and presumably the same Al stock. If you want to fill out the 1000 with the side rails thats an extra $129 (so say $1180 w/o the GB price) but to add rails to the S its an extra $229 (so say $1130, again w/o the GB price), plus you get the Bedtrax for additional tie down options? Do I have that about right OP?

Anyone know what the actual (not shipped) weight of these units might be?

Not too sure how much they weigh, but I dont think they weigh that much. I was crawling around under my truckbed today messing with the spare tire, and it looks like these bedslides would honestly be really easy to install

As far as I can tell you're spot on! I have access to order both models so I included both. The S model looks to be a better deal in my opinion.

Good point. I guess I could always get my angle grinder to make it fit. :sawzall::sawzall::sawzall:

Hm... that's a good point. That would suck if I have to trim it out.

Can you measure? the bedslide is 39" wide. It is centered on the bed, so see if there is 39" between the bedside stiffeners

I'll take a measurement of the bed stiffeners I have when I get out to my truck.
