Which GPS do yall use?

Im looking for a road gps, not one of the offroad kinds, and am kinda looking around for one. Which ones do yall have and pros/cons?

edit: yeah i have a ton of road maps, and some times its fun to "bullrun" it, but some of the features such as POI in an unfamiliar area seem worth it

 

i dont use any gps, but garmin is pretty good.

 

I use a Nokia GPS; it's not a very good GPS, but it plays movies in .avi and other video formats. x2 on Garmin...I've heard good things.

 

Garmin its frickin sweet!!

 

My pioneer gps works pretty good. I'm always using the POI feature to mark campsites n stuff. It also makes a line on the map everywhere I go so there's really no way to get lost. I mainly use it offroad or on trips as I know my way around the city areas pretty well.

 

Garmin all the way. My parents have used it for about 5 or more years without a problem

I highly recommend the TomTom 930T. Borrowed one last Sept to help get us to a U2 concert in Foxboro, Mass. and it worked great. We trusted it enough to head to ME. RI. and NH. to visit some of the spots on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. Ended up getting the same model for Christmas and can't wait to use it this spring and summer! It's a bit pricey but comes with a lot of features.

nice big widescreen and free lifetime traffic. i dont use the traffic much but it works pretty well. Never gotten me lost yet.

if you can afford it, get something with lane guidance. that REALLY helps when going on highways through cities

 

got my Garmin Nuvi 255W for 119.00 at the local EXPO electronics store...list is 249.99....nice sale, great nav system. only thing is that if a road is closed and you avoid it, it will try to send you back around to it...so if you have one that has construction or alternate route thats easy to access in that case, get it...its a real PIA if you dont know the area AT ALL....keeps circling you around.

 

Like "slurpee blue" (love that BTW)... Nuvi 780. Load in all sorts of cool POI lists like brewerys, wineries, and unusual state statues and take a road trip.

I have a Garmin Nuvi. Forget the exact model number. It was a discontinued model so I got it half price on Newegg.com Has worked great the few times I actually need to use GPS, which isn't that often.
