It did in my first gen. I did a mod called the fog light mod (1st gen exclusive) where I swapped power wires with my signals (which are in the bumper on 1st gens) and my markers (corner lights) so that the corners are now the signals (still incandecent) and the markers are now in the bumper (leds). And after doing so I had hyper flash on one side bad and the other was normal maybe 75% of the time and hyper the remaining. I bought an LED Flasher Relay at advance auto for like 6 bucks and swapped it out. Mine was in the small fuse box under the dash and was a pita to reach because it was on the backside so I had to contort the fuck out of my arm and hand lol

TLDR: yes, at least on my first gen it works.

68,000 on what appeared to be the original pads, I got it at 30k. I put Toyota rotors and pads on. I suppose I should check the drums.

I can now get my truck inspected, new tires, brakes and wipers. I hate driving with expired tags.

Some states and areas need them though. Broken down cars in SC while I lived was annoying AF

I'll say we almost need it here in Texas still, most people won't bother getting shit fixed when the check engine light comes on if they know they no longer have to get it inspected before registration

Especially on 2nd gen cause even Toyota keeps a 21 and 22mm to rotate tires. Damn lugs aren't the same size. My factory lug wrench doesn't fit over half of my lugs. That would be nice for someone to find out when they have a flat.
