Well, since the general public pays for the military, I think they have at least a little say in how it's run.

Anyone notice that until Obama brought up the gays in the military when running for election, it wasn't exactly a pressing matter. People seemed to be content with "Don't ask, don't tell." I don't know about you, I never heard of mobs of homosexuals protesting to join the military outside the White House. Correct me if I'm wrong and missed something pre-2008.

that wasnt one of your previous stimulations. that female might raise the morale of the guys, but dont you think those same guys would be hitting on her and oogling her when she takes a shit?

that's because they are already here :spy:

it's been a larger factor since the newest iraq war started since like 13k people (if my memory is correct) have been kicked from service because of being gay. these are people that provided great skillsets and experience to the forces. to be more specific, the arabic linguists

This reminds me of reading about all black platoons that served in the American Civil War, and both world wars. Personally I feel like integration is possible. People always think negatively about anyone who isn't the same as them.
As far as showering with a gay in your company, it's not like they're out to stare at your dick and get turned on. Most gays i know aren't out to "turn" straight men gay and if you have to get "turned" you're prolly gay to begin with.

I still stand by of please don't drop the soap in front of me.

Reservists are more motivated to do things than active duty. Proven fact!! :D
