What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Just truck stuff. The bottom box is 85 inches long, so removing the tool box would not have allowed the gate to close

 

I bought it then drove 2.5 hrs home. Now going down the rabbit hole of mods to buy for it.

Hey guys, on the car wash question, no we haven't offered monthly membership yet, but we do sell tokens at a discounted rate, buy five get one wash free. Also I agree with going in the hand wash bay first, get it scrubbed down pretty good then run through the automatic Bay.

 

Added the pro shift nob. Added some @rrentrop decals to it.

 

Any opinions regarding the PACE EDWARDS retractable tonneaus? I'm not looking for the power one, but interested in the other three.
1) Jackrabbit - I like the low profile of the jackrabbit, but having the release be on the outside would defeat the purpose of my pop n lock.
2) Switchblade - The switchblade has it's release on the inside, but has an ugly hump at against the cab of the bed.
3) Ultragroove - Finally the ultra groove is a little higher profile, but uniform down the length of the bed...also has a nifty grove that you can put Yakima mounts on but I'm planning on a @KB Voodoo bed rack anyway.

Looks like I'm leaning ultragroove...

 

How much does one of those run for?

I agree with you totally and even before I did any sound deadening I did not have any drone at highway speeds. Zip, zero, nada which is why I was very happy with them. While accelerating there is definitely a nice growl and it has improved throttle response as well. Hope this helps.

 

Yeah im trying to find something that isn't that loud otherwise the wife won't be happy. Plus I've had flowmasters and i got annoyed driving down the road having to have the radio blaring and yelling to have a conversation.

 

Yeah it does. My biggest worry is cruising speed. I expect to get a growls in higher rpms but I don't want to be annoyed by the growls at 2000 rpms running down the interstate. I doubt I do the Y pipe but I'll probably pull the trigger soon on the TRD intake and exhaust.

I do a monthly membership for $40 at a place here in AZ, you get the $25 VIP full service wash unlimited times. So I go at least once a week. Helps you keep it clean as you feel like you're wasting money if not

 

Is it a touchless wash?
