I will make sure to post and let everyone who is interested know.

It may be a while.. Might take them down as an option honestly. We are just short handed now and some things are changing.. just no time for side projects anymore.

that might be different. its just the programming and setup for machining the quick release mounts. I can make a change and print a new 3D part and walk away. those are easy.

Worst case.. the ones I have now will work too, but I'm always down for custom :D

When it comes in I'll let you know. I have an idea. Probably what you have would work if we can get one side to be higher for an angle.

    Bryan,
Recommend purchasing the mount sooner than later. It'll give you time to sand, prime, and paint before the SwitchPro arrives for a better install.

speaking of... the custom panel you did for me worked perfectly.

I asked @XPOTRTR for a blank panel with no cutouts so I could Dremel my own holes :)censored:) for a four-button RCA switcher and mate it with one of @docloco's switch bezels to get a single small switch in the overhead. So once I get around to trimming my RCA cables, and paint, I should have a four-trail-camera system for under $200.

    Thanks dude!

woohoo! Looks awesome man... and I'm super jelly of the cameras! lol May need to pick your Brain down the road for this. Sometimes my Limo over factory tint gets a little much at night. lol tight trails plus low visibility would make some cameras in the rear and corners super useful!

Absolutely... we as a species have hit some sort of Amazon-Nirvana-Hell where automotive backup cameras are between $15-30 now, so the biggest pain in the ass of the whole project is running the wires. I tried to pre-wire as much as I could while I had the interior apart this time; used lever nuts for power and ground, so adding future cameras should just be a matter of mounting the camera and snapping in a couple feet of wire. You *could* mount the small toyota switch anywhere, and I had slots open under my A/C controls, but I thought it'd be better to put all the camera controls together.

I was pretty pleased to find the four-button RCA switch I did - cheap, simple, just small enough to fit in the garage door opener cubby thing, which wasn't getting used anyway, cause you can't put sunglasses in it. There's a two-button switch available also, but who can get by with only two cameras? I pondered through all sorts of other rotary switches that are out there, but the pushbutton RCA switch just turned out to be the simplest, since all of these backup cameras are RCA-based anyway.

I'm thinking grill camera, right-side mirror camera, undercarriage camera, and a cargo-monitoring camera on the back of my roof rack - just demonstrated the need for that this morning when one of my pelican case lids flopped open on the freeway

awesome info! thank you. seems relatively simple. maybe I tackle that once it cools off here. running wires in 120 degree heat is no bueno. lol

and I've done that before! a couple times. I've made it home to find the lid unlatched still from a Mod day, and luckily everything still inside. I always remember to prop it open now so I see it open and have to close it. lol

    @XPOTRPR,

Any word or plans to make more Quick Disconnect Mounts (QDM)? Returning satisfied customer here, and definitely interested in your aluminum QDM! Please put me on your wait list (if there is such a thing). :D

I really wish I could put a time frame on them.. I honestly don't know when I'll have the time to get these going again. To be honest, so many things have changed, the HASS's aren't even being used anymore :pout:

I should just take them off the OP, to stop getting peoples hopes up. I apologize guys, I would love to pump these out for you.

I might see if I can get a local shop to mass produce some for me. depends on how much it would run me I suppose. I'll start looking into it.

Interested in the switch-pro mount for the sunglass holder on a second gen, if you have any available.
Also, is this still needed if I purchase the concealed mount version of the switch-pro?
