Oh hell no. Im on the chain saw side of things. Just one of those debates you see pop up now and then. I have a silky and it cuts like a dream but Im not cutting an effing log with a hand saw unless I absolutely have to.

No I am taking it to a repair shop Wednesday. Adjuster should see it by Thursday. I have progressive (first time using it) and comprehensive. Only thing that worries me is how good of a job will the adjuster do? I will be at work and will not be able to play watch dog.

Yankee hill on Sunday. Averaged probably 25-30 mph from the parking lot to the shooting section. Got a compliment from a guy in a razr about how well my truck soaked up the bumps. Put about 1500 rounds down range... it was a good day

Damn! That's a big one lol I spent the better part of yesterday clearing FS 200 by Williams Peak. There were a few trees I had to cut from both sides. My 14" bar wasn't quite enough.

Busy today, but should be able to stop by the FS office tomorrow. I'm somewhat confused by the MVUM as it doesn't seem to match what I saw yesterday.

    https://www.fs.usda.gov/Internet/FSE_DOCUMENTS/stelprdb5166245.pdf

499 is the Ellis Jeep Trail, and you can see it right on the WY boarder in the Hahn Peak insert.

Looking like the gate I saw is another road that isn't even on the map, and we should be good to go. Hitting/clearing farwell followed by checking out the new Ellis would be an excellent day.

I have a 16" bar and it usually is sufficient. I really want a saw with some more power and like a 20" bar.

That tree is going to take some cutting for sure.

    Stuff and junk and things...
There is an S turn right before it and you could run a winch line through the trees to pull it back out of the way. It's going to be an adventure to get it cleared out.

I didn't see any threads on this but does anyone know the specific laws about light bars in Colorado? I drive at night on a lot of county roads with tons of deer and elk. Obviously I will always turn the light bar off if there is oncoming traffic but the only thing I can find in the statutes is that there is a height requirement and you can't have more than 4 lights on at a time. Can I run my headlights and cali raised bumper light bar on road? My initial assumption is that it is illegal so if so, anyone know how much the ticket would be if caught?
