^^ Thanks! Heading that way next week and will be fishing that area on my way to Idaho/Montana for a long fishapalooza adventure. I'm always on the hunt for cool campsites that keep me far away from KOA type campgrounds! How was the fishing and creek water levels?

Water was Raging going up the trail towards the lakes. So bad that it overran the creek in places and the trail became another creek. Down towards the primitive sites it look fast but less turbulent. Down on the 395 by Devils Gate was moving fast too. Owens bear Hot Creek was actually somewhat clear and fishable

:thumbsup:Thanks. I'm also hoping East Walker River is fishable and not raging.

Think good thoughts then! I came down sonora Pass and with the amount of snow still left up there and hot temps as of late, it's been nothing but raging rapids!

Good luck. It'll be blown out this time of year. Put a ton of weight on and high stick with tight lines.

Sister's house. Doesn't seem scenic, but to me it is. From left to right: my late father's F150 that he gave to my sister and brother-in-law; my brother-in-law's old Ford (second owner!) that was crushed by a neighbor's tree that fell down. This thing carried us through my sister's wedding. It WILL be fixed; some red truck; an old Jeep that WILL be restored.

Since when did it matter. :luvya: A Tacoma is a Tacoma is a Tacoma regardless of the year. This thread was created before 3rd gens came out and has a pretty clear title of "lets see your taco in scenic places" Go hate somewhere else.

New member, new Tacoma owner. Just picked up a 2013 dcsb in great shape with 47,000 kms. In the Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, Canada. Very excited to start the journey of taking this from stock, to overlanding ready with my first Tacoma ever!
