What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

The only way to get them snug was by having the top tabs a bit off center like the final picture shows.

 

Been looking for a bracket for a rear trail light and all the ones I see are the same. Like ones from Tacoma beast don't work on trucks with shells. With the help of a person that has a soft shell I used his idea and change a couple things to mount to my shell and bed.

I cut off my exhaust tip just behind the last hanger this weekend. I noticed this morning that there is some drone inside the cab at low speeds. Above about 10 miles an hour and the other noises cover it up.

 

Where did you get the brackets?

Over the weekend, Installed:

• Uni Filter UP-107 1" Clamp-On Breather (Air Injection Pump foam replacement)
  
• Morimoto XB LED Fog lights
• $34 Energy Suspension 9.4101G UNIVERSAL MOUNT
  Energy Suspension 9.4101G Universal Mount (Core Support)

The foam filter in the pump was OK, but removed as a preventive measure.

Like others have posted, the front end squeak was corrected after the core support bushings were changed. Mine were not too bad, but the core support was shifted to the left. Had to get creative getting it realigned. Large channel locks and a long straight rod did the trick. Installed with large on top with all washers. Body alignment and gaps all look good after the install.

 

Wanting to do this I know there are write ups but how'd it work and was it easy?

 

Debadged ze tailgate! Looks clean AFFFFF!!! Couldn't get all the goo off with WD40 so I'll try goo gone tomorrow. Gave up fighting mosquitoes.
