    I tried everything I could to stop it. Assorted types of lock washers, roughed up the surface, and way over torque them.

    Got tired of it.

    Free to anyone who wants them. Mounting plates for rotopax mounts. I got them from someone who was using them on their motocycle. I just needed the rotopax mounts and I have no use for the mounting plates.

    Spent the last 24 hours getting home from East Africa. Tanzania, specifically. Fought like hell to stay up to 9 pm so as to get re-acclimated to our time zone. Got a good 8 hours. Still a bit groggy. Anyway, I decided that I'm going to pack up the dogs and head to Wrights Lake tomorrow to see how far I can get. Love to do a Barrett Lake run latter this summer for an over nighter. Anyone interested in joining me tomorrow? I'm off until the 5th so needed to get out.
