I went to toms run a long time ago but that has been my only real trail experience on a ohv trail at least everything else has been finding old service roads around logging trails around town. Do you guys run any plates on the bottom of your truck? I was told that i should consider plating the bottom of my truck before i go out anywhere at least the front middle and rear diff (gas tank was optional).
I have sliders and a bumper on the way ( today is week 8 out of my 8-10 week wait so hopefully soon) if you do have protection what are you guys running? Or are the trails not that bad?

    sorry for the 1000 questions

Last weekend was my first time out with them. I'm all stock, except some big beefy tires, and I was fine. Most everyone else is all armored up though. Skid plates are my short list of things to do.

The trails here arent too bad. But its not a bad idea to have skids. I have full skids and sliders, front and rear bumpers. If you ever go to Rausch, you will need all of that plus a good line, and not be in a rush.

ill have a winch once i figure out where to mount my control pack.

i think my next purchase will be skids then start saving again for a rear bumper.

There's a Mobtown GB that's almost got enough people for 15% off. Comes out to ~$550 for full skids

i have a warn zeon winch the part that i seem to have to relocate is pretty big i might have to take it apart and just extend my socket for my winch controller since thats what is preventing me from putting the small unit in the warn relocate kit :woot:

Since I can't spend money right now, I'll get others to and I can live vicariously through them.
