fun with USPS

Inspired by this article I decided a to see what the USPS would and wouldn't deliver.

A week ago I was at lunch with the family, and took a splenda packet and wrote my brother's address on it and stuck a stamp on it. I figured it would be a long shot, but today he called me and told me that he got it in the mail in another envelope and a notice that he owed them 20 cents

I figured this would be an interesting experiment to follow...my next step is to take a CD and stick a few stamps on it and mail that.

I like the USPS man.

I can take a letter, anywhere in the US, and have it arrive almost anywhere else in the US for under a dollar. I think that's pretty badass.

 

You can actually by a sheet of forty-four 1 cent stamps, write an address on it and it'll get to the destination.

 

This thread is fucking hilarious. But sleep deprivation does that.

You should try a condom next, a couple stamps taped on along with the address. Then see what happens.

 

even better would be to staple the stamps to it lol.

This is a great thread. Got a brother-in-law in Anchorage who works for the post office. Gonna have to find something special to send him..
