Sorry to hear it man. Furry kids are tough to lose. My wife and I have had to put down 3 pets in the last 18 months. I feel your pain. Hang in there!

that's exactly what was happening with my little girl. She had heart disease and would just collapse when she got too excited but she would be down for a little bit and bounce right back up like nothing happened. At 2 AM Monday she collapsed and didn't recover. Having her take her last breath with her head in my hand was so hard. I was expecting to see her this morning and I'm sure I will for a long time like you. Thanks for your support man.

Sorry dude, its never easy. When I put down Granny dog I just focused on the fact that we made her last year of life a very cozy one with lots of love. I will be going down this path again with my newest Sr rescue at some point.
The best advice I can give, adopt another ASAP.

I've got my life coach on the brink of agreeing to let me get a new rear bumper. I'm thinking about going with a Fab Four so I can retain the factory tow, anyone else using a Fab Four? Pros/Cons?

There was a lot of that in high school that's for sure. I've seen some amazing hack jobs in my years of installing. My friends boyfriend ran the front/rear/center channel speakers off of a 2 channel amp, bridged to mono. He ran one wire and ran all the speakers in parallel. It sounded horrible and I was more shocked it even worked. He said he spend days getting it to 'sound right'. He installed a 12inch sub into the 8inch sub box (2008 4Runner) which is ran off the stock JBL amp. The sub magnet fits inside the box then he sealed it with some type of glue. So the sub is open air but the magnet is sealed.... It's the weirdest fucking install I've ever seen in my life. I told her I'd install a system (for free) and she still let her boyfriend install it. He's never done an install in his life and didn't even look it up.

Oh and the stereo stays on all the time. It's stock. It didn't used to, but somehow he managed to wire up the stock stereo to never turn on/off with the truck....

Smoke billowing up to the sky when I looked this morning. Smells like smoke up here. Not too happy about the fact that another place I like to go is on fire.......

Yup. Saw something on the news that the fire is zero percent contained also which sucks. News said that there are 2 dozen fires burning in AZ right now. We need us some monsoon rains!!

Gather around, got another question! Lol. So every summer when it gets hot my stereo cuts in and out pretty badly. Every summer I resolder the power wire on the harness and it's fine until the following summer. I'm starting to wonder if it's the the wire leading into the connector that goes to the head unit. Same thing with my temp gauge. Every summer I have to resolder the resistors and it's fine until the next summer. Its getting very annoying. So much so that I ordered a new temp gauge off eBay. I've been doing this every summer for 4 years now.

The Goodwin fire is creepin up on my hometown. I could see the fire from my parents leaving Saturday back when it started. They have the whole area I used to play around in growing up closed down. That terrain back there is no joke either. Dry canyons and mountain ridges. .. :(

My parents are gonna go to the Public Meeting at my High School tonight, where they are evacuating people to. we'll see..

Breezy Pines is next.. which is terribly awful... :pout: that place is amazing and the residents there have no chance if it keeps creepin. that's one of my favorite places, especially up there.

OK some of these wrap places are just asking absurd prices. And this is legitimately making me think I should start my own TW exclusive wrapping service...

Having done vinyl decals myself I have an idea of how much the material costs... I would say $100 worth at retail is more than enough to do 1 or even 2 tailgates.

Cleaning is hella important so there's that prep work. Let's say that's gonna take an hour. Let's say I'm a big baller and I charge $100 an hour for that shit. We're now up to $200.

Now, I've never actually done a wrap before but I've seen people doing it relatively quickly once they are experienced. I would plot out maybe 2 hours for a tailgate?? Again at 100 bucks an hour, we've just hit $400.

That's almost half, and that's me plotting in at $100 an hour for labor.

Maybe I should buy some samples and start practicing on mirror covers, tailgates, etc...
