Maybe it's time for them to bring it back, then.

Or heck, maybe even a hybrid option for the Tacoma.

What would you have against a hybrid option? The overwhelming majority of truck owners don't tow, nor off-road. Some kind of option, that's not diesel, that gets noticeably better mileage would be nice for many.

Hell, Ford is supposedly coming out with a Hybrid F150 in 2020.

If you don't tow, haul or wheel, why buy a truck? Buy a Prius and piss me off on the highway instead.

hybrid means no MT. which is fine for you but I'll never buy one and neither will the 5% of Tacoma MT owners.

Theres a reason chevy stopped making the Silverado 1500 in a hybrid and only did for a few years...

Some good arguments there, with the complexity of the modern diesel mixed in I think you might have convinced me. I also agree about Turbos.

    Supercharger then!

If you change just one thing, you will ruin the most perfect vehicle ever built! It is an engineering marvel!

Little tree air fresheners. Clazzio black leather seat covers.
By the sounds of it, a lot of you should have looked at other trucks a little instead of what seems to of been impulse buy on the truck.
Love everything about mine. One thing I wish toyota did was full power down rear window like the Tundras. Thatsb it for me. On the other hand.... it could be a hair bigger inside and out, more Power, fully caged, couple feet of suspension and 37" tires from the factory. Bed side decals " TRD TROPHY TRUCK". all while getting 30mpg I guess.

lol This is another good one. As much as I love my truck, it is asinine to me that a vehicle in the 21st century wouldn't have 4 wheel disk brakes.

Stronger higher quality interior plastics, that includes the cluster. @smitty99 even put it as, " baby fingers can scratch it!"
