Oof, that was a rough drive to work. 30 miles and usually 35 minutes, but took over an hour today due to two accidents. First one was a cop car getting rear ended, and the second was a semi truck trailer on fire :bananadead:

I tell ya man I don't know what I would do if people drove here with some resemblance of a brain.

One of the benefits of my current position is I pretty much make my own schedule. My boss doesn't care when I work as long as my work gets done and my hours add up to 80 every two weeks!

Comes in extremely handy when I need a day off here or there. I rarely have to use vacation time because I am able to make the hours up during the pay period.

Dang, that would be really nice! That's how some of the contractors are here. Personally, I'd probably end up taking a bunch of short days and end up playing catch up at the end of the two weeks without meaning to. :cookiemonster:

Yeah. Just did one on Friday because I took last Wednesday off. I was wiped all day on Saturday! Luckily I don't make a habit of it. I usually just work a few extra hours here and there to make up the day, but it didn't work out that way this time. I actually just got home from work a few minutes ago. Put in 12 hrs today.
