I did the facelift when I purchased these lights so im not sure where the OEM amber location is (I think in the center towards the grill?). With the lights on DRL mode, the bars are illuminated and there are amber corner markers at the very sides, along the top fender line. I can grab a picture later today.

Why do they charge CA sales tax for orders not to California?

 

Not entirely sure why, I believe that's pretty common to charge tax of the location in which they are based out of. Unfortunately I have no say in that

 

Its because you are technically purchasing the item from CA, and the co. has to pay state taxes for anything that they self, if they are a licensed business. It sucks but when your in CA you just get used to it

 

That is not how internet sales work. If you are in the same state as the seller then yes you do have to pay sales tax. However the other 49 states are not required to pay California sales tax.
I have bought plenty of stuff over the years from companies based out of California, and not had to pay any sales tax. That greatly cuts the discount in half.

Kinda messed up but each time you buy anything from this state they tax you, regardless where you live.
