I used the a pillar mount. It doesnt fit that well, but i made do with it. Ill be selling the truck soon, within the next couple months, so ill be pulling the boost and afr wideband since i know trade in i wont get anything for it.

Wow, sorry to hear there won't be another Magnuson group buy. I was looking forward to the new crop of boosted Tacos.

I didn't realize Gadget was almost out of UCONs. I'm glad I got my order in before he stopped selling them individually.:bananadance:

Yeah i went with lotek. Its not supposed to be for 09+ since they have the curtain airbags there, but it still somewhat fits.

Trust me it will suck to sell it. I have a ton of crap going on in life right now, and i just feel its time to let go of the truck. Still runs great and ill miss it horribly, but i need to start fresh at this point.

I dont think i do. I had to cut the mounting holes considerably to get it lined up at all to mount, and then the lotek and my existing shit handle were different colors. As a quick fix i used the gray plastidip. It worked fairly well but it peels. I was planning on using a can of color coat that i had bought on Amazon but never got around to it.

It will be very noticeable. I have seen another guys truck with the same lotek and his was just as bad. Plan on colormatching if you go that route. From what i have read, the medium gray colorcoat is best and will adhere to the material well.

Others will say differently, but Gadget recommends upgrading the fuel pump with a S/C period.

He said if only to convert to an external fuel filter that's easily changed every 25k.

Said he's seen blown motors due to the factory filter clogging.

I figure he knows better than anyone else, do I went ahead and added the pump / filter. Also, it'll be ready to go if I ever want to get a little more crazy

I saw guy's lotek on here for a '13 that he bought back in aprilish, and it looks no different than his passenger. Not sure if a newer batch of pillars were made or what, but it looks really good.

I think im gonna take my chances :fingerscrossed:

    Good decision.

There has been considerable argument about fuel pumps. Sure you can get by on the stock one. But when you're sinking a wad of cash into a supercharger and supporting mods, is a $150 fuel pump really the deal breaker?
