Powered Rear Window Exists!

Price is steep as everest $731 but would you do it? Would have to pay someone to install too. I think this should have been atleast an available option along with many other people on here but then what would Toyota do to satisfy people with 3rd Gens.

Anyway I want one! If it is in fact a roll down window like the tundras.

If I had a d-cab... I *might* consider it... as a very long term last on the list of things to do type of deal. $731 can buy a lot of other stuff that's more useful.

I'm ready for the crap storm, but if you roll down all four windows is that not enough airflow for you? I don't see the point.

 

$731 is a little excessive IMO. I paid "just" $500 more and got a whole sunroof

 

if I'm looking at the right think, you still can't roll down the whole rear window, it just motorizes the little one right?

 

well I know in the access cab... it creates a lot of turbulence to not have the rear open where as having it open is a lot smoother/nicer. D-cabs I dunno though.

 

i'll charge ya $200 and take your whole roof off. its a great deal, do it.

If I could get the whole rear window to slide down like the older tundras and 4runners, I would so be down for that. I used to have a 4runner with it and I loved it

X3! Never understood why this wasn't standard on Toyota trucks, especially the access and double cabs

 

I do think it would be a neat idea in our Double Cab. I just don't have that kind of money right now for mods.

 

I always keep the rear window open when my dog is in the bed. That way I can talk to her at traffic lights, and yell at her if she starts barking at cars.

 

I saw where someone used some kind of actuator that slides the window side to side. I dont think it cost that much. But it has been done before.
