    Sup ya'll.

Going to the kern this weekend, gonna be a shit show though. probably gonna end up just doing an overnight even though we reserved gold ledge campground for two nights. yall know any decent trails or area's around the area we I can get away from the crowds?

I was looking around and saw Forest RTE 22S83, might go drive up that for awhile and see what its about.

How'd you like that jawbone to lake isabella trail? I might do that actually. We will just have to get an earlier start on the trail, looks like it takes 4-6 hours from what people say on the interwebz

Looking at the map currently, did you just follow jawbone from the 14 all the way? There are tons of offshoots that seem like they lead into the same vicinty of Lake isabella.

I was just talking to someone about fuel injector/gas cleaners and, personally, I LOVE Berryman B-12 Chemtool and have used their product ever since I started driving DECADES ago!!! I also like the fact that it doesn't have that "oily" feel to it as well (i.e. it is solvent based, which is what I like about it and pretty obvious when looking at it... whereas the other cleaners you can tell have additives/detergents and such, but that's just me on what I'd rather put in the gas tank).

I was also talking to them about the fact that you do NOT have to put cleaners in your tank every other time, like I know some people do???!!! At that point, you're extremely paranoid and possibly a fool!!! LOL!!! Just my humble opinion, but hey!!! :notsure:

Anyways, I'm bringing this up because, just like the article states, a lot of people overlook this "basic maintenance routine". Just throwing it out there.

    What do you guys/gals use?

Plus, just to add, I HIGHLY advise AGAINST using "engine oil cleaners" as you're just LOOKING FOR TROUBLE regarding oil seals and such!!! :goingcrazy::boom::bananadead: Especially on older vehicles.

I hope you enjoy the article and already do this basic maintenance?!

Yeah, that's all it really takes. LOL, I know some people are just paranoid when it comes to this. I just put in a can when it comes to mind as well. Just as long as you treat the gas tank/fuel system on occasion, then you are good to go.

Btw, there was another break-in on "our street"!!! :annoyed: I don't remember if I had stated this, but anyways, I WAS going to bring the truck back from AZ, but decided against it for now since it was somewhat "targeted" (again, I place blame on myself for that, but anyways) and just trying to avoid a possible break-in to the actual cab of the truck if it was to ever get targeted again.

Anyways, yeah, I MISS the SHI* outta my truck!!! :annoyed::goingcrazy::boom::bananadead:
