    What a fun truck!
Back Seat Air Conditioning Vents/Controls. . . I know it's not a minivan, but this would mitigate a lot of whining!

100% i can think of atleast 50 tw members that would have gotten a dclb in a stick. But when it comes down to it you either sacrifice cab or bed to get the manual.

Lots of good recommendations here already so I'll just add this humble one, a grab handle on the drivers side to make it easier to get in and out.

    none yet/none planned! It's perfect!
The motor was available but the ZR2 was not! Should have been more clear. The Chevy dealer at the car show couldn't tell me anything so I jumped on the PRO.

2017 Pro: height adj seats and better telescoping wheel, seats aren't as comfy as my 09 TRD, keyless entry on all doors, moonroof, interior plastics scuff WAY too easily, JBL sound system, better rear seat storage solutions, LED headlights

I could do without: blind spot monitor crap, rear parking sensors

I think you made a good call. The pro is badass. It's the model that reminded me to even consider Toyota again. I got my 2016 TRD sport used from a chevy lot while I was checking out the Colorado. Salesman was all about "making a deal" on a duramax z71 they had. Even though the Tacoma engine doesn't blow anyone away. It's a much cooler truck in my opinion.

Low gears are spaced far apart because you don't have much wind resistance. Tall gears are closer because you are creating a lot of drag. Those 4 5 6 are far too far apart

I would have liked the option to add a TRD supercharger from the factory... Build it into the sales price, pay for it over the term of the loan, and not void any warranty.

That was the deciding factor that knocked the Pro out of the running for me.

For me, the list is two.

    1. Linear power delivery on the MT. It feels like a turbo car unless you go basically WOT at idle. Stab the throttle at 2,500 or don't use 100% and you get a weird non-linear pull.
    2. Driver's side grab handle. Seriously Toyota? My 2G had it and it was super useful to pull yourself over the outside bolster thus greatly reducing wear on that area of the seat. I'm hoping that a later model will bring that back and there will be a way to retrofit it into the earlier models.

Fixed JBL audio passender door rattle with felt between door and switch plate. Reseated driver side body mount behind passenger seat to fix annoying clicking/creaking sound.
Too much chrome on my white Limited. I'm fixing it though. I have color matched mirrors, a TRD Pro grille, and black Nox Lux badging overlays all arriving this week.

So what would you do with ratios. To make tranny better in higher gears?

Better gearing in the automatic transmission to keep the engine spinning in the torque curve in all gears. Narrower gaps between gears. Higher shift points. This would alleviate the need to operate in S mode as much as some of us do.
