I take the front wheel off to lower the height, and I use rocky mounts they have a good selection of mounts. and they lock also.

I rarely see 285/75/17s ... and if do, I have to ask:

    1. Wheel specs?
    2. Spacers?
    3. CMC? Fender delete?

I also notice Boss 2.5 installed (give you max 2 inch lift according to website) - how much did you have to cut?

Haha... Just our dog running around. The little dude loves the desert.

I just noticed that my sig has the wrong tire size. I'm running 285/70-17s with no fitment issues. The Boss 2.5 coilovers are cranked up to about 2-2.5" of lift. I could probably crank them some more, but the tires fit fine, so I didn't see any need to. No spacers or CMC fender delete.

Yes. Do not go to the valley!

    Wawona is quiet.
    Hitch Hetchy is beautiful.

Want to go all the way across Tioga Road?
Grab an awesome meal at Whoa Nellie Deli and hike the Panum Crater!

What's everybody using for light around camp? I'm thinking about elevating my lantern game before my 4th of July trip. Thinking about something like this:

Not too expensive, 400 lumens. Plenty of light for cooking on the tailgate.

I don't know if you're camping by yourself or only are considering lanterns but a headlamp has always served me quite well. I've had two "black diamond" brand ones that I've used for work and just beat the piss out of and they still work great. It's literally light everywhere you turn your head and look. You could find them on Amazon, pretty sure they're prime eligible so here in time for the weekend

By far the best lantern I've ever used - Streamlight Siege. https://www.amazon.com/Streamlight-...=1498627398&sr=8-1&keywords=streamlight+siege

Lanterns are ok if you camp nowhere in a 5 mile radius of anyone else. Otherwise they're annoying.

    Mostly stuff I built.

I use the cheap ozark trail 300 lumen ones and they work great they are built almost identical to this one. Might save you some cash. Mine have functioned flawlessly for several seasons.

Is this along the Black River? I'm headed there late July. Love that area but wondering if it has fully recovered from the wildfire from a few years back.
