I order all my tires from discounttiredirect.com (free shipping and no tax) and just take them to whatever tire shop had good reviews to get mounted.

You can still use discount tire direct and have them shipped to you. You can also get the warranty.
Where in cali you from? I was born and lived in socal till i was 12. Still have family out there. Miss In N Out.

When I lived there, it was just another place to eat. Now that I live here, it's one of those things that since you can't have it, you want it more. If I lived where there were both Five Guys and In N Out everywhere, chances are I would choose the Five Guys more often than not.

    Welcome!

Discounttiredirect get the warranty or you can go with

    Costco BJ's or Sam's club.

I know that BJs had the KO2s at some point but you will end up paying a bit more, they do offer free balance and rotation plus some warranty.

This is the main reason why I air down besides being nice on the trail. You would be surprised how many new people wheeling don't air down to find multiple flats in a short time depending on the trail. If nothing else, to save your tires makes it worth it. If you are just mud bogging around or something then you probably don't need to.

Agree with that! I've learned to air down to about 15-20 depending on terrain. The Cove and Big Dawgs you need more around 15 while at Rausch I could get away with 20-25. If you've never had to air down, you've never had to go through some hairy spots where you need some traction and cushion to overcome a boulder or obstacle. And I'm not bashing you at all, I had enough slipping and sliding and getting stuck to know that airing down not only makes the ride a lot better on your back, but also on the vehicle. Let's get you out to some more challenging trails!

The only place I know where we can do that is Cape Lookout, NC. You take a ferry to an island and you can drive and camp on the beach.

    Or maybe Dewey Beach? o_O

Freeman park in Wilmington if you drive a bit further south, that's where I used to camp when I lived in Fayetteville. No ferry.

I did the ferry camping trip before, storm came through and we got stuck for a bit. Not fun, assuming this is the same place, did it back in 2010.

Dude I am thinking the same thing. I think it would be fun to hit up the Corrola area like @boogie3478 just did. BTW man, how did that trip turn out?
