Can someone confirm or not that you are able to run two Air Lockers plus an Air Line hookup for airing up tires with a

Yes, the Lockers would come off the 1/8 ports (center of manifold, plugged from factory) Air Line comes off the 1/4" (end of manifold, red dust cap from factory). The 1/8" ports are BPP thread, 1/4" is NPT.

I figured it could, just could not figure out how it all connected up.

 

FYI Viair has some good customer support. Used their little chat thing and a screenshot of my Amazon order later they sent a new hose my way.

 

My experience with Viair has been nothing but great. I think you should look into their systems as well. They have great onboard solutions with or without a tank. Just call them or use their chat thing and see what they recommend. I had an 88p for a long time and it never gave me trouble. I upgraded today and got my 300p for 80 bucks today with prime. It is not an onboard but i know for a fact that Amazon and amazon warehouse has onboards all the time for an amazing price. check warehouse often for great deals.

 

Already have my 300p mounted behind the air intake filter . Was pretty damn easy to do on the 3rd gen. Kep it on the plate, but drill spme holes in it to fit! The rubber screws are actually good. We used one of those metal strap things on the handle so it only had a little give for vibration.

 

Love my viair 400P-A, mounted it in the engine bay. No issues in the past two years and before I hard mounted it, I was airing up 2-3 rigs every time we would air up. Now it's just me and the occasional other person. Obligatory pics....

Purchased the 450p through Amazon 2 days ago for $174 i believe now its $223

The 400p was $170 2 days ago and is now $139

For those of you running an arb compressor, which fuse did you tap into to run the illumination wire? (Blue and white) I'm trying to find a fuse within the cab behind the drop down cubby on the left side.

 

I used red wire to the top left 15A labeled IGN and the blue to the top row 3rd over from the left 10A labeled Tail

gotta ask man, how did you wire it? did you wire a switch inside? how did you hard wire it? thinking of doing the same but not sure how i would wire it

 

I just cut off the battery clamps that came with it. Added ring terminals and attached to the blue sea fuse block positive/negative bus terminals. It has a switch on the back side of it so I just turn it on when I attach the air hose. Just left the 40 amp inline fuse that came with it. Wiring it was the easy part.

 

did you get the issie fixed? How do you like to 300p? any good?

 

Just a heads up. Most blue sea fuse blocks have a max amp rating of 30 amps per circuit. You may want to research yours and reconsider hooking up to it. I've got a dual arb and went straight to the battery using the inline fuses. My first thought was to use my blue sea but then went and googled the specs for the model number fuse block I have.
I have a buddy who lost his truck on the trails due to an engine fire started by wiring problems...so it does happen.

 

I know, I didn't use one of the circuits. I left the inline 40a fuse that came with the compressor, and just connected it to the buses for positive and negative that come from the battery to the fuse block. They're like 4 gauge wires I think, I can't remember. Good looking out though.
