How do I cancell my order? Pm'ed earlier 2 hours after putting my order in and it won't let me cancel my order. I don't want to deal with "fitment" issues.

 

By cosmetic upgrade, I mean there will be in improvement in light output. In fact, depending on what bulb it is replacing it may produce less light as the Xtreme LED CMB bulbs are rated for 800 lumens. The CMB bulbs are available in 5000K or 6000K while the Xtreme LED kits are 5700K. For example matching the color of your low beams and fog lights.

Do you have a side-by-side picture of your lights compared with the stock lights?

 

The whole point is to produce MORE light, not match what's there now. The stock 35-watt halogen lights are barely helpful. I want close-in, wide illumination. Not so much for fog, but for cornering and slow driving off-road visibility. Thank you for your time. Comparison photos would be welcome, showing the ground illuminated (stock vs. Xtreme LED).

What is the difference between the H4 HID Kit Volt HID and the H4 HID Kit Xtreme HID (in laymen's terms, please )?

The Volt kits come with a 2 year warranty, while the Xtreme kits have a 3 year warranty. The Xtreme kits also have an upgrade ballast that is more energy efficient with a lower starting draw, and a German processing chip. Finally, the Xtreme Kits also come with a pair of Relay Harnesses, which you can use to run power to the ballasts directly from your vehicle's battery if necessary (a $29.99 value).

And these are designed to work in a standard headlight unit. No special reflector is required, right? Except for adding the ballasts, it's pretty much just a swap-out job?

 

They are designed to be plug n play. having said that you would get better results from a projector headlight than a reflector type. In most cases the only modification you would need to would be with the dust cover if the vehicle has one.

Basically, I just want to take the factory bulbs out and put in something better. I don't want to replace the headlights entirely and I don't wan to have to tear them apart to put in new reflectors.

 

I would go with the H4 Xtreme LED kits then.

Tacomas are non-Canbus; right?

 

I hope so cause I didn't choose that option

 

@coopcooper and @Salty_Dog,

You should not need the canbus modules for the headlights on your Tacomas. I just confirmed with model years going back from 2017 to 2010, and none of them required the extra components. If you have older models and want to confirm, get in touch with us and we can double-check for you.
