Picked up a souvenir in Colorado. Felt like a buffalo is my spirit animal as I roamed the country.

@Chux digging thru your thread for details on the following:

    1. Is that a slender propane bottle strapped to your spare? - If so, where did you source it from?
    2. Details on rotopax/propane mount on your spare?
    3. Whats on top of the spare?

If you could direct me to this information, I would appreciate it.

It's this bracket in the 10lb size for a 6 lb. tank. Sorry Chux, couldn't resist responding.

There's an option for 5lb tanks in the drop down menu + the hold down clamp is adjustable for varying tank sizes.

Yes, but 5lb CO2 tanks which are different sizes compared to propane. I helped Chux determine the size he needed for his 6lb propane, based on my measurements for the mount for my 10 lb CO2 tank, hence why I responded.

Yes, if you get a 6lb tank with the same dimensions as Chux did, the 10 lb CO2 mount will work for you.

    1. Yea a 6lb aluminum propane tank is mounted off of my spare.
Cheapest I found it for was here https://www.vintagetrailersupply.com/6-Vertical-Aluminum-Tank-p/vts-257.htm

    2. I first made a plate bracket off of the spare for the rotos

    IMG_4868.jpg

After brainstorming I came up with another plate mounting point for the propane tank using the mount I made for the rotos.. I don't have a welder yet so everything is nut and bolt assembly.

    3. Top of the spare is a step stool for my wife to get in the fridge..
