We had kid get his hair caught in the lathe spindle in trade school, had to cut it to get him free.

Yeah it was Big ol Leblond engine lathe, fortunately it had an electric brake that would stop it quick. That nasty SOB would of broke his neck without any effort.

Got halfway to work and turned around and came home. WTF. My head hurt and I had trouble seeing out of my eye. Is that a migraine?

The lathe one might be the better bet lol the Drill press may not stop fast enough . I made up a board for the girls to "Work On " with screws , bolts and nails etc in it so they could tighten them , loosen , hammer etc . I gave them the lightest little ball pein I had lol the oldest still managed to dot her forehead while leaning over and concentrating she tagged her self in the forehead lol. When they got older they got what a air nailer will do to a board demo. A year or so later we started with BB guns and away we went lol

T is nice for a rifle though as I was taught it , it was the golden triangle middle bridge of the nose down to corners of the mouth instant stop of all movement except gravity induced movement. I could make the run if I had to with a pack about 40 lbs but hit that target no hit center mass yes . Course I would not be moving to far after that run anyhow lol . I do way better with pistols these days left or right hand or CQB but most of that is work related. If I had to chase someone lol if they aren't armed the dog does the chase I listen for the screams and walk toward them lol

    Afternoon Everyone

Just found a local car show hangout at another Farmer Boys restaurant . This one is a weekly car show every Thursday afternoon 5-8 pm .only problem is its 10 miles away and in 100 deg plus temps maybe a challenge for the Camaro , especially keeping the trans temp down with that 4200 stall converter
