Meeting up there just ended. They are focusing on Poland Junction. reports confirmed of structures lost. Bench Ranch is being evacuated (between Mayer and Spring Valley)

 

20k+ acres burned because some fucktard couldn't put out their fire. Well, started a fire for camping even though fire bans are in place.

Well, it wasn't lightning. So, I'm guessing it was human caused.

fuck... people suck. Seriously. The fire that almost took out my folks house and did claim a few of my friends houses was also caused by some dumb fuck kids building a pallet fire in the woods.

Does anyone have any info on volunteering for anything at all? If so pm me please. I got 2 trucks one of which is 3/4 ton with 5th wheel hitch, 3 or 4 generators, i could haul drinking water. I cant find anything other than people looking for money. Maybe we could do a botttle water drive to take up there for people with no power/water or for the firefighters. Any info would be appreciated.

 

Whilst dealing with my AC issues last week I also got a quote from 505 Sunscreens to cover the upstairs 4 windows that get hit all day and make my bedroom miserable. Not only did they give me an instant rebate that SRP is doing, but they completed the work in 8 days. NO one could touch that in the East Valley! Im excited to see my SRP bill drop as well as keep my room cooler.

Now onto the next set of fixes/ upgrades so I can sell this place and get something better.

 

I have access to horse trailers. Who needs em and where?

So ive got that going for me... Which is nice.

 

Well the fire is still on the west side of the 69 from our hood but is only a couple of miles away which is kinda gnarly. The fire command center is located on the same side as the fire across the street from our neighborhood. I figure it they start to freak out, we will also be evacuated. Hoping that doesn't happen. Super smoky and ashes everywhere. The wind is pushing the fire toward Prescott and appears to be picking up.

It is super hard to concentrate on work (I work from home) and I am super busy right now which sucks. The wife is home from work in case we have to bail.

Those air tankers are dropping retardant like mad over there.
