PORT RICHEY, Fla. – A Florida woman has been arrested on child abuse charges after authorities said she gave birth to a child fathered by an 11-year-old.

Hillsborough County Sheriff's officials said in an email that 25-year-old Marissa Ashley Mowry faces a charge of sexual battery on a child younger than 12.

A police report said Mowry was 22 when she began having sex with the boy near Tampa.

Mowry became pregnant and gave birth in October 2014. Officials say she and the boy continued to engage in sexual intercourse multiple times when he was between the ages of 11 and 14 years old.

Officials said the child she had was placed in the care of a responsible adult. Mowry is being held without bond and it's unclear if she's retained an attorney.

OK, so I think I officially became an asshole today. Some idiot contractor decided that directly outside my office door was where he was going to stand and talk on his cell phone. Strike one, and I'm under so much personal stress right now it doesn't take much to set me off. Since I could hear every word he was saying no matter how I tried to ignore it, I realized his phone call was a job interview. Strike two - the mother fucker is on government time, not his own. I popped my head out and said very loudly from about 5 feet away "Do you mind taking that call somewhere else - wait, are you on a job interview? On government time?"

He skedaddled. Quickly.

I've already had a chat with his leadership. They are even less impressed with him now than they were this morning. Must be his man-bun. For his sake he better get the job because he's about to not have this one.

So let that be a lesson to you all - if you're going to get on the phone for a job interview, do not have it at your CURRENT place of employment.

We had a girl here that was constantly working on her resume here at the office, and applying for jobs all over the place. One evening her resume mysteriously got deleted from the company server (it actually was in the morning before she showed up for work ) and she was PISSED, but she couldn't tell anybody why she was pissed, or complain to anybody in management, haha!

I was pretty happy with myself for that one.

Edit- Normally, I wouldn't care. You want to find a new job, fine. But don't do it at work, on company time. While she was busy doing that, everybody else (myself included) had to pick up her slack and finally I just got sick of doing it.
