Eclipse. Highly recommend dispersed camping. I have the days off and would like to see it, just need to find somewhere to go. I planned on going early in the weekend to reserve a spot.

If people want to make an event out of it... We can figure something out

    Eclipse goers...

Be prepared for craziness. All hospitals in the area have denied any requests for leave or vacation during that time, locals are stockpiling water and gas.

I hope nothing crazy happens with the influx of people, but the locals are counting on it with expectations of over 1,000,000 people. In fire season, shit can get ugly when so many out-of-towners start having campfires in their dispersed camp sites.

You moved from Redmond to Seattle...

We're doing the opposite as soon as possible.

Amy and I were economic refugees during 2008, not a ton of work for a chemist and HR specialist. We are looking to move back asap as my company is expanding into Oregon. Where are you looking to live specifically? Bend?

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
If anyone needs a large country spot near Salem for the eclipse, I can set you up with my parents place. They've got plenty of room for vehicles.
