It doesn't even need to be power. The Rav4 loaner I'm driving during the recall has manual seat height adjustment, and it works perfectly. It strikes me as odd that the Rav would have it, but not our Tacomas.

Oh, yeah, my wife's Prius has that. I get my ass chewed for lowering her seat with the hand crank thingamabob. I mention her vertical impairment isn't my problem.

I always find out later that it somehow IS my problem.

lol I've never seen one like this before. It's like a handle and you pump it up or down. It's simple, works perfectly, and I don't get why we don't have it in our trucks.

Count me in for telescoping wheel and power seats... I'd like the front of mine lowered (so the seat becomes flat, instead of a V)

I'd rather keep the manual seats. Less shit to break. I am the only one that drives it so my controls are never used. Electric seat's can break and I've had 2 cars that the seats have stopped working. That was real shitty when my ex wife went to put the seat all the way forward and it stuck there =\.

2nd vehicle was a older one but still. My Grandfather is like 6ft 3. Tall, long legs. I went to Barrow his car while I was in town, moved the seat up and it would go back again. More shit to fail. I'm 6ft and he had issues using it till I purchased a replacement motor

Same. I have no issue with manual seats. I just wish I could raise it an inch.

Yeah I would enjoy being able to raise the seat too. I don't have any visibility problems currently but wouldn't mind sitting up higher

always feel that way......I add washers to the back bolts, gives it
about 1/2-3/4 of lift and it's just right. I've done it in every taco.
