I'm out for weekdays, even if I don't go to work I need to be in cell range.

I'm hopefully taking the 3rd off, and since it will be my friend's first week back to being off-contract, I'm trying to make plans to do more of a road trip somewhere.
As for most other weekdays, I work.

Weekdays are work days I assume for most of us. If weekend I'm sure a few would speak up and join ya. If riding a quad qualifies than I'll be down!

Any NW members certified welders with welding table that can accommodate a vehicle frame? Need to get some metal stuck together and it needs to be clean and pretty.

I had "drum brake inspection" as a low item on my priority list after hearing all the stories about brake pads lasting 200K miles, etc. As it turns out, you should inspect your rear drum brakes occasionally - what a concept! Taking the rotor off was a bitch and a half. Rusted and when I tried to use a bolt to push it out, the threads disintegrated.

...or else you might find yourself 15 miles away from camp at TSF with your rear brakes locked, troubleshooting a rear diff issue that doesn't exist. :anonymous:

Anyone know anyone who punches 1" louvers? I need a bunch punched into an aluminum panel for the Airstream.

If it makes you feel better, I offered to help an old co-worker with his brakes. He took everything apart himself and cleaned it all up. I picked up all the new parts he told me he needed. Well I got there and he had cleaned the drum brake shoe and removed the old pad, blasted it, and repainted it. He opened up the parts I brought and was asking where the pad was only to be a bit annoyed that the drum brake came with that part :)

Also, animals crashing and burning in fireball explosions...that's some awesomely funny shit right there. To be clear: as long as it's fake.

So was I. I didn't sleep good the night before, so that didn't help. I didn't want to miss the opportunity to have someone to ride with though, so yeah.

Mine is in the shop for new tires (which isn't getting done until Tuesday due to miscommunications ), so you can rest easy still on my account.
The truck needs an alignment, and I'm going to try Alignment Specialists in Hillsboro - I'm kind of tired with the trek all the way to the Firestone, the hideous parking lot, and rolling the dice that I don't run into the one jerk who works the counter (everyone else has been OK, just that one guy is trying to pad his pockets and pulls lies to cover ineptitude).
