You can always lift it later if you decide to get out of the mall!

Looks good! How about a pic of the fender well with the tires turned by chance?

I can get some tomorrow. And yes going to lift it next month. It's actually only my 4th day owning this truck. Haha so give me some time to enjoy it right now. Then it's going up!

So you dont know if they fit bc you haven been off roading? If the tire rubs it doesn't fit you realize that. Some people don't want to chew their $220+/per tire when backing up or hitting a speed bump while turning and realize they just ripped their mud flaps off bc someone told them on TW that 285/75/16 would fit on stock height. Have you even tested your theory towing or loading the bed or even carry 4 grown people?

Haven't chewed a damn thing. My driveway is perfect to check for any rubbing too. Got to clear a 5 inch sidewalk to get in. You won't rub. Lol

Read better next time. My first post clearly states "NO RUBBING AT ALL" lol! And yes. I have a family of 4. And I also have already carried a full built cabinet so no you will not rub. The rear on 3rd gens clear perfectly. The fronts clear good too. Idk why your panties are in a bunch.

Too poor to list anything interesting.
No rub for DD? Sure. Maybe most instances. But here for the when others chime in.

Let them. It's up to them. But like I said. Guam isn't the best place to have a tire that doesn't fit. Our roads are crazy messed up yet I have no issues driving around the whole island.

When you been to Guam and seen how bad the roads are compared to the states let me know. Till then I'm letting you know, that these tires fit. It's all on you whether or not you believe me but I'm living proof they do. We got potholes deep as one foot here. Enough to blow out a tire yet when I drive slowly through them (can't always drive around them as we have many small 2 lane roads) I have no issues whatsoever. With U turns they're perfect too. We gotta u turn on the daily over here. My work itself requires a U turn just to get in

@zamuhh I can stuff tires to the top of the wheel well with no rubbing in a straight line. Just bc you climbed a 5" curb doesn't mean it does rub. Should try a full lock or half lock and climb that 5" curb.

Tried that too sir. Way ahead of you. I drive a slammed car on the weekends I can't even u turn with so I was extra careful to try doing it with the Taco. Haha keep the suggestions coming. I can even take a pic full lock on uneven road. Check this thread tomorrow my boy.

Don't think people are giving the wrong info. People are just giving the recommended specs, because most people don't want to stuff their wheel wells. If they work for you, then great! But don't make it sound like people are giving out bad info. Rubbing isn't the only issue you need to worry about. Heavier tires and a wider size can put stress on other parts of the truck over time without a proper lift.

That is true. But I just wanted to clear it up for the people that wanted to try 285's. Like I said. Owned the 3rd gen for so few days, lift kit is on the way.
That is a pretty wicked ride though.. haha

Some people are also not taking into account that you have an SR5. Wheel width and offset are different than the other models, which can affect clearance.

Last time I went wheeling I wanted to go fast. Ask @Coot83. I rub my wheel wells, cab mounts, pinch weld (After the hammer). I've got a few shiny spots in there

I actually have an SR.. with SR5 add ons. I work at a Toyota dealership. So I get good deals on parts.
