All the more gangster that you made do instead of running out somewhere for completion. Im thinking about getting serious for the rear glass with some advanced fiberglass (shop that bought glassworks) as he said they are strong enough that people have mounted RTTs on top of the fiberglass tops of the bedsides. I know I could likely do that in the interim, but I would be checking that thing daily to anticipate a crack so I need to just get the bed rack done first which will make getting the stock bedsides off much easier anyway.

Wouldn't surprise me if many fabrication jobs start out at one piece at a time and you just adjust as you go along.

I don't think it would be hard to make your own supports if you wanted to go with any other company. I just heard horror stories about customer service with glassworks. Not sure if that's the same with the new company though. You keeping the bed? Or going a full cage route?

Im going to keep the bed. I am going to try them out as ever since they bought out glassworks they have been pretty prompt on the phone and have been very good with questions. They only have two reviews, but they already sound like they are much more available to stuff. Im sure the molds they got from glass works are solid too. I personally don't care for glassworks and how they evolved over the last couple years. These guys are worth trying out to see if they are quality.

I hope so too man...all things considered with glass works I originally wanted to go with them for my fenders. I tried for three weeks between three calls a week and about 4 emails and never even got a hold of a guy. These guys at advanced in the three calls I called them picked up on the third to fourth ring so that def is saying something compared to what Im used to. They also had a full shipping quote for me in about 30 seconds when I asked. Looks promising, but I agree nothing is set in stone with anyone with glass till you get it yourself.

I must admit my build list is kind of all over the place...I have it listed under the interior mods although maybe it should be an exterior mod?

Nice addition to this retro/retard build thread! Too bad I made this little piece so late in the game haha.

So to conclude the action of this trip, my entire truck was mudded up partially thanks to @misdirection1982 for grenading what little clean areas I had left when I reached the top by hitting a puddle at almost 60. This is us at the gas station where I had to squeegee the windows in fear of getting pulled over.
